It wasn't an easy road for my guest this week. He thought he wanted one thing, worked really hard, then realized he wanted something else.
He took the long way. Don't we all at some point?
As Dan Kelleher says, his strong work ethic is what got him through. Though his determination is what really changed his mindset and helped him realize what was possible for him.
He understood that taking time for himself was a necessity.
He also had an eagerness to do more and achieve greater
things. He didn't want to be missing out on life.
Those hard times helped him build his confidence. And he reminds us that even though transition can be uncomfortable, it's not fatal.
Indeed, only certain things are. However, trying, failing, living, are not!
