Peace and Possibilities

Aug 4, 2021

We should have some help along the way.

Yes, help.  What a novel idea!

Michael Smith has learned many lessons as a professional athlete. After our conversation it was difficult to summarize all of his insights.

He's learned, among other things along the way, patience.  Lots of patience. And that he needed help and wished he knew more sooner.

He's now helping first responders and former athletes by building a rehab facility to support them.

Another great leadership lesson for anyone: surround yourself with people who are better and smarter.  This is maybe the greatest leadership lesson of all time!

In case you're wondering, distractions are a way to cover up/mask your problem.

You have to put the work in.  Talent isn't enough, ever. Your environment and passion is key.

Once something is over, find out what else you're good at, then go do that thing. Try out different things.

Seek the right people and follow what you feel drawn to follow.

Be prepared to change -  you can't live without experiencing change.

If he could go back in time, and do something earlier, he would learn about money and business because it applies to everything in life.

Tune in to hear more about his many experiences.
