Peace and Possibilities

Apr 7, 2021

My guest on this week's episode is Derek Doepker, who shares that when we're trying new things, we may just get resistance.

But if we use that energy and accept that resistance as a challenge, and consider that if someone else can do it, maybe so can we, then we're definitely on our way to success.

He encourages us to take risks as we go, but to continue being grateful. It's our mindset, along with our belief in possibilities, that will sustain us and contribute to our success.

If you're struggling with trying something new, Derek encourages us to ask ourselves "What have I already done?"  Remembering those accomplishments will boost your self-confidence and remind you of everything you already know.  This builds momentum and you'll want to do more.

And if the goal seems too big, than ask yourself, "Can I just?" Can you just do this one thing today? Can you just send that one email? Can you just call that one person?

And the answer, of course, is almost always a resounding YES!
